Hawley farm cottages are new and open for guests.
A large listed barn has been converted into 2 holiday cottages. The "Wagon House" and the "Cider Press".
The Wagon House accommodates 4 people, 2 bedrooms both en-suite.
The Cider Press is a upsidedown house which accommodates 6 people, 1 double bedroom with wetroom en-suite, 2 further bedrooms with a family bathroom.
Under floor heating through out,oak flooring, woodburners, dish washers/internet/tv in bedrooms.Heating and electricity all included in the price. Garden furniture, sun loungers, and a sand pit for the children. All bedlinen (apart from cot linen) and towels provided.
There are many footpaths in and around the picturesque village of Dalwood which has the The Tuckers Arms, an 800yr old inn which is a 1 mile footpath walk through the fields and bluebell green lanes
Quietly situated in the Blackdown Hills an area of outstanding natural beauty away from sight and sound of roads,only bird song from the large trees close by.
The Jurassic coast, a world heritage site is 6 miles away with wonderful beaches of Seaton, Branscombe, Sidmouth, Charmouth and fishing at Beer and Lyme Regis all close by.
The Axe valley is great for bird watching The market towns of Honiton and Axminster are 15mins and the county towns of Exeter and Taunton are 30mins away. Hawley Farm is a dairy/sheep farm and the cows are grazed on fields around Hawley so if you are interested you may be able to drive them to the milking parlour, another short walk. The quiet lanes are great for cycling with many interesting routes mapped. You may arrive at 3 O Clock. A warm welcome awaits you.
