Our 8 cottages are dotted around our farm and all are just a few minutes walk from the coast path and some lovely remote beaches and coves, whilst the wilderness of Dartmoor is only a short drive away. The wonderful Erme estuary and Mothecombe beach, with over 130 acres of sand at low tide, is just a couple of miles away.

Explore the nearby picturesque towns of Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Salcombe or visit the historic port of Plymouth.

Why not visit out of season and cosy down by a roaring log fire, or come and see the lambs in spring? Short breaks available all year.

We put fresh local organic milk in each cottage for guests on arrival. Carswell is also the birthplace of the Well Hung Meat Company so our guests can try local award winning organic lamb and beef.

All the cottages are very well equipped with widescreen digital TVs, DVDs, washing machines, dishwashers, microwaves etc and all have a private garden with table and BBQ. Cots and high chairs are available on request.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome in The Lodge, Corner Cottage, Spring Cottage, Shepherd’s Cottage and Crofters Cottage. One dog is also welcome in Lambside House by special arrangement.
