After working for two decades in one of Devon's top hotels, we wanted to take a step back from a busy hotel environment, to give more to our guests, and provide a relaxed but luxurious place to stay, right on the beautiful East Devon Way and close to the glorious Jurassic Coast.

Set in 20 acres of peaceful pasture and woodland, we're surrounded by wildlife. While the shy otter that lives along our stream is a rare visitor, keep a sharp eye out for some of our other neighbours- deer, foxes, badgers, owls and rabbits, and if you spot a flash of blue, that'll be our kingfisher!

We feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful area of England. Mincombe Barn is midway between Honiton and Sidmouth, within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a UNESCO world heritage site, with the Blackdown Hills AONB just to the north.
All our rooms are super spacious - with plenty of room for our super-king size beds, a cosy sofa, smart TV and underfloor heating, with luxury bathrooms, each with a deep tub and walk-in shower.

Tuck in to your Aga breakfast, with a range of home baked treats including cheese and bacon breakfast muffins as well as a traditional cooked breakfast. If you prefer, we’ll happily bring you breakfast in bed, a selection of tasty delights delivered to your doorstep - just let us know.
